Happy 2010 to you!

We brought 2010 into Kindergarten in style on Tuesday. We began by writing 2010 on our attendance charts. We then grabbed the New Years Hats and noise makers, did a countdown to zero and made a lot of noise and I do mean A LOT of NOISE! We reminisced about days gone by in 2009, things like camping with our families and going to an Edmonton Eskimos game. Goals were set for 2010, including learning to ride a horse, and meeting an adoptive sister from Ethiopia. It was a great day to share with these little people so full of hope and innocence. They have many more New Years countdowns in their futures, and I am just so happy to have spent this one with them. My goal for 2010 is to be the best teacher I can for them and to sing even more!

It's cool that you went the extra step to celebrate the New Year with the wee ones!! Would be awesome to see why (in their eyes) 2009 has been a good year, and too see what they're looking forward to from 2010.

As always...awesome teacher! Our kids are blessed! :)
