Happy Thanksgiving...

A Thanksgiving song for my Kindergarten kids, please click

Can you even believe how beautiful our Thanksgiving Turkey turned out to be! I sent a plain paper feather home with each student and asked them to use their imaginations and decorate it with anything they could think of. As you can see, the result is fantastic. We had everything from leaves to cheerios to watercolors to sparkles and much more. We had all our feathers come back on time and I wish to say a huge thank you to our Kindergarten parents who take the time to help their children with a project such as this. I am truly grateful for parent support like this.

Hello Mrs. McMahon and class. I really enjoyed seeing your Thanksgiving turkey on the bulletin board. Everyone has their own special feather just as everyone has their own special family. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. I forget that Canada celebrates the holiday in October while the US celebrates it in November. That gives me lots of time to create a turkey for our own kindergarten bulletin board.

Hi Mrs. Poulin, thanks for the nice compliment. This was a very good little project, the children all beamed when they shared their feathers. Minimal work for us but big returns for them. Win win for everyone! I just copied a feather out of an old clip art book.
