Skating, Kerpoof and Valentines..busy, busy day!

You would just not believe how the children's skating is coming along. We have all levels on the ice and am most impressed with the ones who had never skated before, they are skating now. Today we made a big obstacle course on the ice, I took some video to share with you. The kids are allowed to bring their hockey sticks during our next skating time, but they do have to have a full face mask to play hockey.

We also visited the computer lab and made Valentine cards using Kerpoof. This is a fun little program that is free, you can set up a login name if you want to use all its features, but today we just used the card making. The kids loved it. They all printed out their cards and brought them home today. Below is a picture of their cards, we had to print them in black and white and then color them.

Hi kids,
It's great to see you practising your hockey skills. We are a primary school in Auckland, New Zealand and at the moment it is very hot. It doesn't get cold enough for it to snow. Your blog is very neat. Keep up the great work.
